Sellers must book and pay for one or more tables, and can then bring their goods and offer them for sale on the day. Table bookings are done by telephone, and bookings MUST be done before the market day. Bookings normally open about 2 weeks before the market date. The price of a table booking is $15, which also entitles the table hirer to two door entries, that is, two people receive free entry to man each table. Any people beyond two per table must pay the normal buyer door entry fee (currently $4). Payment for tables is presently made on the day. This may change in the future to require payment at the time of booking. On the market day, sellers are admitted at 7:30am to give them time to set up. Buyers are admitted from 8:30am. Markets normally wrap up by about noon. Please note that the organising clubs take no part in any sale transactions, and any dispute arising from any such transaction must be resolved between the buyer and the seller. |
