Photomarkets

Every year, Smiliemail Camera Club and the Northern Exposure Photographers Group run three Photomarkets. We have been doing this for over 25 years. The Photomarkets are photographic swapmeets. For $15, sellers can book a table to set out their camera gear for sale, buyers pay a modest $4 door fee to come and browse, and we also run a popular canteen where tea, coffee and cakes are for sale. It is a very friendly way to spend a Sunday morning with a roomful of camera enthusiasts. We usually fill about 40 sellers tables - everything from antiques to digital - and we draw a crowd of anywhere from 200 - 400 buyers on the day.
